About
My name is Lisel and I am the florist behind Belle Bouquets, welcome to my tiny footprint in the wide world of web. I began this business back in 2012 and it has slowly evolved from creating paper flowers, a creative hobby that allowed me to be a Mum to small children, to becoming a farmer florist. I live in the gorgeous South East Queensland, Australia, on our family farm of 160 acres with my husband Mark and our four beautiful children, where we raise cattle, a few sheep and chickens, run a mobile and on farm mechanic business and in a plot just under 2 acres, I grow seasonal flowers to make up into bunches and wedding bouquets during my flower season from September to end of May. It is my desire to grow most of the flowers used in the weddings and bunches I make, and if I can’t grow them I do my best to source flowers Australian grown and where possible organically. It is my passion to create and design flowers as sustainable as possible which means NO FLORAL FOAM and if required, only biodegradable plastics. (we use bags to 100% biodegradable bags to keep our seasonal bouquet stems hydrated for deliveries)
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to meet you as I deliver bunches or teach a workshop.
